If you have poor quality parts and poor quality engineering, the parts will fail. There are some Toyota models that are made in Japan that are fully hand assembled
This is partly why I value models made in the Tahara plant. Next purchase will be a GS or LS from that factory.
They're installing my tires, got a notification from the MB app, looks like I'm back in business...with massively overinflated tires (always)
Discount Tire always insists on underinflating my tires whenever I have them rotate my truck's tires. They are LT tires with an 80 PSI limit. I run them at 55 psi when I'm not towing. TPMS is set, from the factory, to come on at 45 or less. They INSIST on 36 when they rotate them. The 18 year old kid will never listen to me. He insists that 36 psi is the ideal pressure for tires to prevent wear. He even tried reprogramming my TPMS without my consent. They've failed every time to do that, lol. I just take it home and air them back up to 55.

I had a J vin 2RX, My dad had Canadian made 2RX. I couldn’t tell any difference in build quality. Except the hatch struts wore out much faster on the Canadian! They’re still working as far as I know on my old Feb.2006 build RX. Also the starter sounds different.

We have a Canadian 2RX and it’s very good. No complaints. Equal imo to a J ES and others. But a Tahara built vehicle, especially in the peak years, are a bit different.
Yeah, I had replaced the fronts last June, but the rears have 30k miles on them. I was going to have to replace them before winter anyways so I just went ahead and replaced all 4. Plus they dont make the PZero A/S Plus's anymore and theyre replaced with the A/S Plus 3 and I hate to have tires that don't match. I'll get a refund from TireRack's road hazard warranty for one of the front tires.
New tires look pretty good, a little beefier looking that the previous generation which isn't a bad thing. So far they ride great and are nice and quiet, but I only drove it from the shop to the carwash and back home. Luckily the rim was not bent
