The proportions of the new Charger remind me of the upright, bulbous new 5 Series, probably because it must also accommodate both an EV battery pack and ICE powetrain. The wheels look comically small even though they aren't.

The concept was much sleeker.

Looks good. But the EV models, I lose my interest. Too bad no V8. At least is has a I6

5.x liter V8's are downsized engines as well.

Oh my bad, I probably should have said it's a Stelvio but since they only have two SUVs I didn't think I needed to lol!

Yep. Traditionally 300 inch engines were the smallest "real" V8s and anything smaller was a "fuel economy" engine lol!

I agree. It’s not the turbos that are of concern…it’s the downsize of displacement. Going from 5.7 to 3.4 is absurd…in the LX. There should be a V8.
The Alfa can be had with a twin turbo 505hp V6 engine and upgraded interior and exterior trim in the Quadrifoglio. Not my cup of tea but it's available.

If it’s 5 inches wider than an LS 500. Than that means it’s 80 inches wide? That can’t be right… I think that’s wide enough to require those orange lights on top.

The look of that Alfa looked underwhelming. I have no idea what the engine is, but that wouldn’t make it more appealing to me. Just my opinion

You either like Alfas or you don't, they're quirky.

It is indeed right, that's why I brought it up.

Its the Ferrari V6, the Quad variant is actually insane. Ties a stock Trackhawk for acceleration and defeated the Porsche Cayenne on the ring when it came out and was the fastest SUV

That engine is one of the great ones even if it's just a 6

It just the style and look do the Alfa that I find underwhelming

No but I have driven one before, it's one of the best SUVs if you actually prioritize the drive experience. SUVs aren't my thing but it would be in my top 4
