Still in my case as much as I like it I would always go for a flying spur before one. The only 4 door I really have any desire for right now is a 2020+ Flying Spur Speed

I know we disagree on this. But it does have a mechanical centre Torsen differential. I give it that

Flying Spur is a beautiful car, but even that you’re not getting a better drive than you’re getting in a flagship sedan like an S Class etc

There is no comparison, I've driven the W222 in all guises and the W223 in V8/AMG trim and it's just totally outclassed. The flying spur is insane in that it has an entirely superior performance envelope on top of the best of the best interior etc
One of the main reasons I didn't go with a W222 was because of the way Mercedes doesn't drive like Audi/Bentley when you push it. Sure the S is smooth but I want both

I do give credit to Bentley. The flying spur and the Continental GT can hit 205 MPH in stock trim. So give it that

I’ve also driven a Flying Spur, and there are actually a few comparison reviews on YouTube that agree with me. Doug Demuro just posted one today, actually.
For the difference in cost they just don’t appeal to me. When you drive a Rolls Royce they feel just on another level from any other car, Bentleys just don’t do the same thing. Very nice obviously but over twice as expensive as a fully loaded German flagship car? I don’t see it.
