I have a fear that folks like me who do not prefer or "need" an SUV will soon have nothing but those to choose from. I still want a wagon, but that's not going to happen unless I move to Europe, which is also not going to happen. Probably in a few years, I will get a nice luxury sedan and won't have to worry about it.
I'm with you in not preferring this crossover craze at all. It's sad to see the death of wagons, and inevitably sedans as well.
No, I did not say that. I said I am not interested in SUVs. A luxury sedan is what I said I want in a few years.
Regarding the Civic, I see what you did there. But, I like mine.
Sweet wheels!!!!
I think luxury sedans will stick around, or something close to it.

I can see that. A Bentley would stand out much more than a Mercedes or Bimmer

They are stunning...but for the cost (I mean, over $300k) its just not something I would ever consider...maybe if I had a 3+ car garage and had room for a car to drive just for fun and keep my daily I would feel different, but even then the cost is just so much more than I think a car is worth.

I think it's worth the cost but not worth spending the money on when an S-Class is plenty enough. Funny how we bring this up when we were arguing over what overpriced means. This car isn't overpriced, it's just not worth spending the money on. You could buy a killer ski boat and S580 for Bentley money.

Duh, get it now. I've got one more driveway spot, maybe 2 for cars. Only 2 car garage. I love having all different kinds to choose from. Both the Lexuses blend right in with traffic.

This is pretty funny given the long argument we had about things being overpriced vs more than you want to spend on them lol
I agree its not "overpriced" because people buy them, I'm just not the right consumer.
Talked about this a few pages back but Jalopnik just compiled a list of every naturally aspirated V6 car on sale today. Only 20 models left from 7 brands. Won't expect many if any of these to last for another generation.

Didn't you say it's not overpriced if it sells? IMO we see/value things differently. I'm sure many would say S or alike is not worth the dollars. Their buying Bentleys or alike is probably similar to our buying Toyota or alike.

You ignored where I specifically said “it’s not overpriced because people buy them”
