It’s one of the most stolen/carjacked cars where I live and most likely to be seen driving 100 mph on the expressway with tinted taillights. They were very nice cars when they were new though, one of my favorites.

My wife's cousin bought a car from Carvana and now she doesn't like the interest rate on her loan. Where is the best way to find a lower rate loan? I told her to look in to her credit union with her job. She's a pharmacist at a hospital.

Credit unions are great, where does she bank? I would look into whoever she banks with. Bank of America has decent car loans...

You can get the hybrid 6 for just under 200k, 300k is only for the real engine.

Eh, I'm not a V6 guy but I'm fairly sure in terms of 6 cyl engines the Germans make the best ones.

I would of course want the "real engine" too lol. Flying Spur PHEV V6 starts at $221,000.

Yea I'm talking strictly NA V6's.

I didn't care much for MB's 3.5 or Audi's 3.2. Never drove the Porsche 3.6 which I believe was in the Panamera for a short time.

Ah, the 3.6 isn't a V6 anyway so it wouldn't count.

If strictly V6s that are NA then it's the Italians all day

Agreed. Our Audi supercharged V6 is fine. It’s a good engine and we’re happy with it, but not “oh my god this is the greatest thing ever”. The NA V6s that came before it were not impressive at all, and the TTV6 that replaced it is also fine. Mercedes has been a similar story. Good but not outstanding V6s. BMW’s I6s are another story entirely, and one that I’m hoping is going to be echoed by the ones Mercedes recently introduced.

I mean sure but the hybrid is a fast enough car and has the electric aspect etc for around town, you said you aren't one to really explore 150+ so the top engine is not needed practically speaking.

Its not about being fast enough, its about having an engine that feels the way the car is meant to feel, hence why I wouldn't buy a 6 cyl S Class and don't like the PHEV S580e. In any event its still $220,000 and I see zero value in that over an S580 or 7 Series etc.

And very few people but you "explore 150+" lol. The desire for a certain engine has nothing to do with top speed.

"Practical" and a $200,000+ don't belong in the same universe. The PHEV Flying Spur exists for places where driving a high displacement car is impossible, like in London.
