That’s what we’re talking about, Toyota is not being genuine about what they feel the car needs. You won’t find a Toyota specialist who does not believe that fluid needs to be changed.

I would rather the manufacturer be honest with me and say “hey, fluid needs to be changed at 60k miles”
mechanics and stealerships want your money.

Then why do all the MB specialists say the car needs LESS maintenance than the manufacturer says? They don’t want my money?

My mechanic has tried to talk me out of the brake fluid changes and the spark plugs I have coming up. That’s not uncommon. I have been in the Lexus world for 26 years and all Lexus mechanics say it needs those fluids changed regardless of what Lexus says.

Reality is good mechanics give good advice

I have never been pushed by my independent to change the transmission. Nor have I ever been pushed by the Toyota dealer I did change the oil in the transmission for my matrix

Then your independent mechanic isn’t very good. Just read around online, everybody believes that transmission fluid needs to be changed and there are lots of analyses and pictures of the fluid and it’s obvious it needs to be changed.

the new seven series looks pretty good in real life depending on the colour. in that video. It looks super ugly. And I thought the engine would be more quiet at full throttle with less rattle

I want cars fixed correctly and happy customers. If you want to shovel me money let's do a custom project if you are position to afford it.

I agree with you. So does your Sequoia and your A8 W12 have a Torsen centre diff or not?

Engine sounds are always more pronounced in a video, but I have not driven the 750e. I have driven the 760 and the i7. Engine note in the 760 is more pronounced than in my S560 but that’s part of the BMW ethos.

Colors are really important in that car, that color doesn’t work.

I do firmly feel this will be my next car, probably a 760 in Carbon Black

I would love to see the clutch adaptation values on your cars.....

The WS in my sequoia was done at 43k as per analysis, so I switched to a synthetic version and change every 30k

you are boring me with EV talk Steve lol. V8 engines are so much more cool. I think the V8 is the right thing for you. But I would still think you should consider keeping your Mercedes. (And to make sure you do every single maintenance item) lol
