So their judgement about the styling is wrong because you disagree with it but their judgement about the engine is right because you agree? Got it.

It is a shame that engine is gone, but I understand why it’s gone.

Stopped by MB today on my way up to get the Pacifica washed (finally after the trip) got to see the new Moonlight White that replaces rhe Diamond White my car is. Much better! One issue I have always had with the diamond white is it can look cream-ish in some lighting.

That’s the new color not the color mine is. Its a much brighter pearl white. It’s closer to Lexus’ pearl white.

This is the old diamond white, the color my car is. You can see in this lighting it looks creamier

I like the Moonlight White. Our X3 is Mineral White Metallic which also is similar to Lexus pearl white. We've been happy with it so far. BMW also has Arctic White which isn't metallic.

I LOVE Mineral White. I just don’t personally like yellow or cream tinges to white which is what bugs me about mine

Say what?? You really make this more complicated than it has to be. I think the previous gen looked a lot better, and the one before that (that offered a V6) too. This new Accord looks pretty good everywhere but the rear, but it's pretty boring. Last 2 gens looked great.

And I was simply pointing out that Car and Driver themself is disappointed as well that the good engine is gone, not just me. More than .0000001% of the population cares about a decent engine.

I totally agree the previous Accord looked much better. This one is very odd looking in front.

And being disappointed the engine is gone and saying Honda should bring it back are different things. Of course C&D is disappointed about the engine, they are an enthusiast magazine. Most people are not enthusiasts, and certainly most people who buy Accords are not. I'm disappointed its gone, but I don't think Honda should bring it back, they don't need to. Anyways don't you hate 4 cyls?

Even with their disappointment over losing the 2.0t engine Car and Driver still ranks the Accord #1 in the segment and it's still on their 10 Best list for 2024.

That doesn't mean it's better than what it replaced.

And I do hate 4 cylinder engines, but if anyone can do them right it's Honda. They've had all kinds of monster 4 cylinder cars in the past.

I'm equally nauseated that the Camry lost the V6 and is hybrid only, but not surprised.

04 Touareg for the wife, old jeep for me, Audis/LS if the roads are dry.....if they aren't we don't use them.

“better” is subjective. If you want the best fuel economy, which is the #1 selling factor for buyers today, then yes it is better.

Camry lost the V6 also because nobody bought it.
