My GS 350 gets 21 Mpg in city/Suburban driving and I’m happy with that.

C'mon man, nothing says boss more than hypermiling in the fast lane.

Really is a shame Lexus never had a V12

Put the BMW on a battery charger yesterday and now the auto-start stop is functioning again. I had suspected it was a low battery causing it not to do anything.

No need. 2017's have a persistent disable button. If I disable it, it stays disabled indefinitely until I press it again.

I might call the dealer and confirm that's normal, but good. Anything that resolves itself in a German car is a verrrry good thing lol.

I think a battery registration has to happen for BMWs after 2005. Not sure if a depleted battery requires that to happen.

Major hail risk in ohio, up to 3 inch. Hide your cars! I just spent 3 hours getting everything out inside garages and a storage unit

Only when you replace the battery. If you just re-charge the same battery, nothing needs to be done from a coding perspective.

Terrible panel alignment in this newish Jag convertible.

It was the 2.0t, it sounded like total ***, just starting and driving off. It is what it is with these 4 bangers. Absolutely dreadful sounds.

It'll probably need a battery soon, being a 7 year old car. I haven't gotten the floor of the trunk up yet to see the battery, but I'm thinking it is original.

I'll get it registered at that point, either at the dealer or through bimmercode.

7 years is pushing it. I'd just do it anyway, it might go kaput on you and you don't want to mess with the electronics and jumping a German car that's not virtually new and even then, who knows. I've found batteries for my cars to last about 5-6 years.

AAA warranties their batteries for 6 years just fwiw. They come to you and do it and the price is 100% competitive.

It's 110% safe to jump start this car, btw.

I had to replace the battery in my 2020 GS and in my 2021 Tundra within 2 weeks of each other. 7 years seems amazing to me, though the 2019 Highlander is still on its original battery, so that one may need it soon.
