They are so nice, I can hear a F430 shifter right now playing from memory of the one I was in. Feel is unreal precise and mechanical

@SW17LS

Let me see....

My guess is that you would choose the luxury trim of the Escalade and not the murdered out sport version. Those look great too.

Am I right or wrong?

The Denali had an $82,000 sticker. This LX was I think $112,000. Why anyone would pay a cent more than that for an LX is beyond me. If they kept V8s alive it would be a tougher decision. Even with the Denali, the Escalade is a better comparison.... but I think the Caddy is also a waste of money above a Denali.
Why limited to these two? I wouldn't pick either if I were in the market for one this size. There are so many better choices IMO.

Probably, but not 100% for sure. I like the black trim too...

For instance I have decided I prefer the M Sport 7 Series.

Walked up to this

No soft close

As part of my "replace the Jeep quest" I'm test driving any SUVs that can tow 7500+ and get better MPG, today was a 2012 GL450 with 57k miles.

I like how smooth it drives, extremely Mercedes like but there is a massive delay between commands and turn in/response. Interior is nice, adjustments are plentiful etc and there is some decent leather coverage in the main areas. Almost everything is padded vinyl but it's in good shape, nothing to complain about other than no soft close. Cargo area is large enough but I 1000% would feel weird putting engines back there and would need some serious protective padding/mats.

Overall I liked it far more than expected, again has an exceptionally smooth ride that surprised me.

It’s not.

I’ve had experiences with Yukons and LXs, albeit old one so I follow them both.

What would you choose? BOF only, I will limit it to that.

That sag doesn't look good. Is that a failed air suspension?

Very intriguing vehicle. 12 years old and only 57k? I like champagne colored vehicles even if they're linked to elderly drivers. MB's of this era all look great to me.

100% old person owned, suspension seems to work fine but I'm certain I'll need to replace struts at some point. Was sitting for about 3 weeks....

Air suspension shouldn't sink like that even after 3 weeks

Yea I don't know when the champagne stigma started but the color on that GL 450 looks great to me.

Oh I know, it has a leak. Just have to find it and replace whatever the issue is no big deal!

Should easily be able to sit there for months and months without falling

Just got the sticker and turns out that paint was a $1250 upgrade option
