That is really interesting, I had no idea they did that. So for a while the Camry had an I4 and two V6s…

That's very very strange. I had no idea that ever happened, usually Toyota is very much single V6 choice at a time.
The power difference is fuel, some MZs really prefer it as well....my friend has a 1996 Avalon XLS with very rare options and found he gets 30% more mpg off 93 vs 87 octane.

I think Toyota has two V6 diesels going on now at the same time for Land Cruiser Prado. One is a hot vee. Edit. It’s the Land Cruiser 300 that has two V6 gas engines. 4.0 and 3.5tt

I always found it weird that Tacoma moved from 1GR to 2GR when everyone else got the 1GR updated engine. Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser 70 and Hilux still use the 4Runner engine

How? He had nothing to do with this conversation about the Camry and I don’t own a Camry, be. Ever said the Camry had two V6s Jill did. I asked him to stop trying to teach me things I obviously already know. I obviously already know the history of a car I have owned for over 20 years, my 2003 ES not the Camry. He tried to tell me what engine I have and that engine had an issue and I obviously know what engine it has and he was incorrect about the issue.
All this wagging fingers ****? Save it please. That’s so totally obnoxious and you used to be a moderator. You know better than that.
