My sister had to get a mismatch tire because no one had a run flat in stock even the Lexus dealer. Luckily Toyota dealer had the size she needed and she paid dearly for it.
When I had the two flats in the Pacifica I had to buy two mismatched chinese tires from Walmart since I was on a trip, when I got home I threw them and the remaining brand new OEM Nexens away and bought 4 good tires lol

You go through tires like my mother goes through (throws away) coffeepots.
It's amusing. I understand it, though I wouldn't throw out tires with decent life left.
Its a little amusing lol. I should start a tire company, I'd be my own best customer lol.
I definitely don't get the most life out of my tires, but like I said they are the part with the biggest impact on how a car drives. So a new car with loud, crappy tires...yeah I want them replaced. I don't run them down to the wear bars either because I want the best performance and safety, I swap them out 4-5/32nds.
I only keep cars for 3-4 years so on crappy OEM tires the whole time I have it I'm not getting the best the car can offer me...

No lol, worse is the Nexens from the factory on a $62,000 car.
Check out this '88 MR2 on BAT. Only 2900 miles on it. I can't tell you how much I want this car. I regret the sale of my first gen MR2 all of the time.
They need to not since I would really like the 2500hp next Gen Bentley EV to be a thing. I'm really hoping it will meet my requirements and that sweet sweet sweet EV depreciation will make it perfect
