The first tundra owner who put 1 million miles on his 2007 Tundra as of Jan 2024 had 900k miles on his 2014 Tundra

When I had the two flats in the Pacifica I had to buy two mismatched chinese tires from Walmart since I was on a trip, when I got home I threw them and the remaining brand new OEM Nexens away and bought 4 good tires lol

You go through tires like my mother goes through (throws away) coffeepots.

It's amusing. I understand it, though I wouldn't throw out tires with decent life left.

It’s probably not very amusing to him.

He doesn't care, based on the tone of his posts on it. I'm not laughing at him/his wife having flat tires, he knows that.

It is amusing because everyone is like that with something, for the most part at least.

I throw out and go through TVs like crazy, for example.

Well I don’t blame him. I certainly wouldn’t want to ride around with Douglas tires on one side and Nexens on the other. lol

LOL. Never even heard of those brands. That's pretty bad.

We bought a $25 dollar DVD player and the brand name is ONN. Lol.

Its a little amusing lol. I should start a tire company, I'd be my own best customer lol.

I definitely don't get the most life out of my tires, but like I said they are the part with the biggest impact on how a car drives. So a new car with loud, crappy tires...yeah I want them replaced. I don't run them down to the wear bars either because I want the best performance and safety, I swap them out 4-5/32nds.

I only keep cars for 3-4 years so on crappy OEM tires the whole time I have it I'm not getting the best the car can offer me...

No lol, worse is the Nexens from the factory on a $62,000 car.

Nexen is a Korean brand that comes on OE on many new cars now. Douglas is Walmarts in house tire brand. Lol

And for $25 I hope that DVD player at least turns ON otherwise you could have spent that money on a tasty meal somewhere!

Douglas tires are Walmart's in house brand but they are manufactured by Goodyear.

Check out this '88 MR2 on BAT. Only 2900 miles on it. I can't tell you how much I want this car. I regret the sale of my first gen MR2 all of the time.
