Saab def made some good looking cars. I really like that one. They might as well slap an Ikea logo on there too lol.

That light blue Caddy sneaking on the top left looks cool too.

Saab would do well with the current era of small turbos.

That's for Florida, up north in the snow 4x4 may be a lifesaver for winter towing, I don't know and have no experience on that.

Add, there was a few times I wished I had 4x4 for launching a boat on a sketchy boat ramp, made me very nervous.

I am just amazed at the aversion to it. Especially for those who tow. it makes more sense to have traction at the front axle and the rear axle permanent especially if you have 10,000 pounds behind you

Towing is where FT 4wd helps you the least. You've got a ton of extra weight (call it 1500 lbs for your 10k load) levering down on the rear axle and significantly reducing the weight on the front axle.

Every time I see the new 530

It reminds me of this

Until I realize what it is.

a weight distribution hitch corrects all of this

that MB is super classy. I don’t think any MB since has come to look as good.

In that case, I’d just put it in 4WD then switch back to 2WD once under way. I have no need for a 4WD system that stays in 4WD full time. I just use it when I need it, and I’ve never needed it while towing.

Exactly. I do not need 4WD while towing.

No it really doesn't, you never tow so you wouldn't know

I had aftermarket brake controller on my ‘08.

Yeah I remember that commercial plus the towing commercial with the fire going uphill I believe. The 2nd gen set the 1/2 trucks on fire and stayed relevant for a long time and still is to some.

My 08 feels more raw compared to my 2.5 gen. The 2.5 gen feels more refined. Kinda reminds me of the AP1 and AP2 S2K

That’s cool. I didn’t know that you could add one to a Toyota

In hindsight it’s a great commercial. I don’t think it worked at the time.

Interesting you think it’s more raw. Do you think it’s all in your head? They made absolutely no changes to the 5.7 power train

Like how?

Lovvvve that commercial. Toyota did remove that transmission cooler toward the end of its run.
