Yeah, grease is no good if the mats are light color.
Brown carpet mats. They were only $80. They are easy to clean and don’t show much dirt, and they match the dashboard. when I got the car it had cheap aftermarket floor mats in it.
That look is terrible and way to utilitarian for a premium car.
All-weather mats need to be "utilitarian" to stand up to water, snow, dirt, sand etc. and still look good after getting hosed off. These look fine to me.

exactly, and thanks. don't have snow here, but the rest we sure do. since i don't drive the lc a lot, i could certainly be ok with the carpet mat though, but i find cleaning these easier than cleaning carpet.
