I'm generally not a fan of piano blacks either, particularly GM's overfondness of it.
The G30 has a bit more than I'd like, but luckily it's not surfaces that I spend much time touching so fingerprints haven't been a big issue yet.

Echo all the comments on the beautiful S-Class. That paint is something in different lighting! Tint looks great.

thanks all!
It has a little green and a little blue that comes out in the sunlight. It’s more pronounced in pictures, in person it’s more gray.
It’s high quality, but still terrible. The whole console in the S580 is piano black along with the door window switch area which is inexplicable lol
I was going to have it all done in PPF but my installer wouldn’t do it for fear he would mess up the electronics with the water solution.
Ditto @link13 , looks good.
On some pics it looks like it has some green in the paint and on other pics I see a hint of blue.
It might just be my phone or the camera angle, not sure, or maybe it does.

I can't stress enough how high quality said trim is.
And piano black isn't my choice either..... however the truck is also slabbed with a very large amount of real open pore black wood, and stitched leather everywhere so it's fine.
I agree, when I see Rolls Royces with piano black instead of wood I want to gouge my eyes out.
