I guess if you don't actively see something in front of you it doesn't exist.

Not dead, just not really gonna take off like people thought. That's plainly obvious.

Rich people will always buy Teslas and expensive ones, EVs aren't going anywhere... that's not what I mean. Even though even Tesla is in trouble right now.

They just ain't replacing gas cars ANYTIME soon. It was a pipe dream and it's not going to happen.

LOL, exactly.

You keep saying this but that just doesn't make it true. Did you ignore where LexBob told you BMW EV sales were up 28% in Q2?

Its going to take time but more and more every year more and more % of new cars sold will be EVs.

Even though even Tesla is in trouble right now.

Tesla is not in trouble...they had a revenue miss which happens to all companies.

Nobody has said they were going to replace gas cars anytime soon, you say we all have said that but we haven't. A greater and greater % of new cars sold will be EVs, eventually most new cars sold will be EVs, that is still a long ways off though.

Gasoline is not the future.

The Stupidest Pickup Ever Made™ is up 78% YoY, and at least for now remains the best seller in its category (that category being Stupidest Pickups Ever Made, naturally). Mach E up 58% YoY. So the news isn't all bad.

Continuing to say the same untrue thing over and over and over again doesn't make it true

Wrong. Gas isn't the future? LOL.

Maybe all EV is the future when we are all dead and gone.

You said Chevy pickups won't have V8s in 2030, remember our little bet?

Looks like you're quick to lose that one too.

3% of F-150s sold were Lightnings just this past April.... wow.

97% of the rest of people want to use a gas truck that can make it across town and back towing a boat, because the current Lightning can't. Which is pathetic.

Gas is absolutely not the future. I plan on living at least another 40 years, I have no doubt that there will be few gas cars on the road within my lifetime. Look at where we were 40 years ago.

Do you have a time machine? 2030 is still 6 years away lol

Seriously, its tired. Why do you have to consistently drag our thread down into an EV debate? You do this once a week or so. We have an EV forum.

Well, the good news is that I also happen to have a house on a lake and I have a boat. So I know from actual experience that it does it pretty well.

Oh, and it's sold five times as many as the LX in 2024.

I have a right to my opinion even if you don't like it.

Gasoline is the future. You think just cars need gasoline?

You don't have to respond and start arguing every time. I say one line you don't believe and it turns into this.

Just accept my opinion and move on, that's why I don't say this stuff in EV chat.

Ridiculous, I say one line you don't like or don't agree with and you turn it into an argument. Just move on. Plenty of things you say that I think are whatever, I read them and move on. Didn't you say you've just put $5000-$6000 into a leased car? I could really have fun with that but I choose to keep my opinions to myself.

Out of respect I don't go in the EV chat and say that, this is general car conversation.

Maybe they are trying to teach you a little patience.

I'll admit, though, that sometimes it can be taken to extreme.

This is one of the best reviews I’ve ever seen. This car literally got to him

”it’s a mad world, unjustifiable”
