the only thing that could put this over the top is if a solid axle was offered as an option and manual sliding rear quarter windows
BOF just ain't his preference the way it is for us and that's fine.

Some people like crossovers, some people like BOF tanks, some people like half-ton pickups.

Thats not a common viewpoint, the chatter I’ve watched and read is all very positive.

I like BOF vehicles I just don’t want to drive one daily.

Agreed, I think the new GX is a massive improvement visually over the outgoing model.

I bet there will be markups. This does appear to be a knockout. The interior needs more luxury and I think long-time GX owners would agree (it may be dated in old one, but it's very luxurious), but I don't think that's going to stop these from selling like hotcakes.

The markups will probably cool considerably once the Land Cruiser version comes out. I would suggest all interested to wait until then.

Probably. I can't believe nobody was allowed to run numbers with test gear. It's welllll into the 2024MY.

I think if you look at the competition (the Discovery) the lack of wood trim etc makes sense.

The textured plastic looks pretty similar to wood; a lot more thought and effort was put into this than the TX.

While that's clean and modern looking, I just can't swallow Lexus vehicles coming with fake wood. They never, ever have.

The whole "people don't care" I don't fall for.

fake leather wasn't a thing much until recent years either. so were ashtrays and cd players.

As long as it doesn't have piano black in it, that's a win.

The interior looks amazing. Outstanding job by Lexus.

Really looking forward to seeing one in person.

Looks like you can't get that saddle brown interior I just posted with the Overtrail trim. So annoying. Lexus packaging really is infuriating sometimes.
