I don’t need an SUV, but I would like an SUV for several reasons. I like the high riding position, I like how they are easier to get in and out of, I like how you don’t have to worry about curbs etc, I also like that it’s something different.
The third row, I would take or leave. The third row would mean that we could drive it on trips to WV and it does have value there since we do things that are easier to do in an SUV. I like the GLS and X7 more than the GLE and X5 I would probably just leave the third row stowed almost all the time. Range Rover I would probably get the SWB with the 2 rows.

Friend of mine has a RR and it needs $25k of mechanical work. Instead of getting it repaired, he purchased a Honda Accord.
My uncle owns a RR as well and he’s not too keen on its reliability. It mostly sits as he DD an Accord hybrid.

nice pic bit! the L322 has got to be the most "range rovery" range rover of all... there's a reason (several actually) clarkson still uses one as the main transport for getting around diddly squat farm
of course the L405 looks more sleek and contemporary, especially in front of the older one lol, but the L322 was the last time the car had those classic 4x4 range rover proportions

i don't talk to him much but he said the L322 (older one in back i believe) has been the much better of the two. i've asked if the front one has had issues.

When I bought my L322, I test drove one at my local dealer but could not work out the deal. Ended up working with another dealer 70 miles away. That dealer did an inventory trade with my local dealer, they swapped cars, and I bought the exact same L322 that I test drove locally from the other dealer 70 miles away for a lot less than my local dealer wanted. Definitely wish I’d kept that one. Still one of my favorite cars.

doug demuro pretty much single handedly change the carmax policy for their 'bumper.... to bumper....' warranty with his range rover lmao... pretty sure it was like a 6 year warranty for like $3,800 or something (this was maybe 10 years ago) and over the course of the 6 years the warranty paid out like over $20k in repairs! significant things too like replacing the entire transfer case and all the air struts, multiple times even for some of those

You think he was bad? Look up what some of the V12 guys did.......they made it so that NO ONE will offer any warranty on any 12 anymore lol! Carmax paid out over 45k on a few cars to get every little thing fixed, just imagine buying a CL65 and when ANYTHING broke you got to go to Mercedes and have it fixed for free.

LOL, its in access mode. It lowers way down to make it easier to get in and out of.
Yeah I couldn't bring myself to drive an Accord lol
How old is it? I would lease it and ditch it before 50k miles.
