Last week I had my 5 Series in for service and the dealership had a Tanzanite Blue 760 (beautiful color) on the floor. It looked great both in and out. It looked better than I expected. I even sent my wife a picture. of it.

They also had a new 5 Series which I spent some time in. I'm more familiar with the 5 and think we'd be very comfortable with the new gen.

Thats when MB says to change them! lol I will drive an LS500 but not likely. LS500 calls for spark plugs at 60k BTW, intervals are way less for turbocharged engines.

The only good thing were the Veganza seats, and even those lacked the adjustability of the prior gen comfort seats. Otherwise, it's a joke compared to the prior generation.
LOL, yes I am sure I was in the new 5. I sat in three. Lower door panels are not hard plastic, they are soft touch plastic. All of what you are looking for is available with options.

I'm also pretty sure and you can ask others like TangoRed who also have spent time in the new 5, the lower door bins are 100% hard plastic. No vinyl wrap on the top or dash available on any trim, no massage seats, no adjusting backs on comfort seats, no rear climate controls (in the US), and hilariously the B&O sound system has been downgraded to the equivalent of the prior-gen HK sound system.

Are you talking about inside the door bin or the lower door panel? I’m talking about the lower door panels, they are absolutely not hard plastic. Inside the bin could be I didn’t check.

Damn, it seems like they really downgraded the G60.

My G30 has the full adjustability and massaging seats.

Lower door panels are 100% hard plastic. Inside has no felt lining either.

That is 100% not true. I specifically felt them myself. They’re not super padded but they are soft touch.

Also according to the website the luxury seating package includes the adjustable backrest.

So did I... you can check other forums too if you want to verify.

Nope, back does not flex with the comfort seats. I know, I tried them and even asked the dealer. Also seems to be a complaint on Bimmerpost now that I'm looking.

I don’t have to verify anything on a forum, I touched them with my own hands 4 hours ago lol
