@AJT123 Only 46K.

power steering leaks
gas tank pump leaks
abs issues
Time marches on for everything. At 31 years old that old SL is doing pretty darn well. It clearly has sat for a long time…

I have never really worried about when to fill up.

Looks good

At that age, it will need to be gone thru if they expect to daily drive it.

Lots of rubber parts, belts, hoses, tires, etc that may be old.

‘It would be cool if the Wizard showed us the repair bill and cost and the end in a follow up episode.

It would be…but it doesn’t sound like it will be real bad.

Well, here's the problem with those 2023 Accords that have a cool 204 horsepower.

Just now...this younger guy in a brand new one, white murdered out 2023 Accord.... kept flying by me, just driving like an idiot. He liked his car, that's cool. Welllllp we made it to a red light and he got his *** handed to him by the LX570... He tried to race once more from a roll but he got dusted again. Then he refused to engage, like a dog with a tail in between its legs.

How cool does he feel now when he got repeatedly smoked by a 2014 SUV in his brand new top of the line Accord? Lol.

They need to bring that 2.0T back and fast. That was a huge mistake, dropping it. I wouldn't mess with an Accord 2.0T unless I was driving the Mercedes.

The 2.0 with a turbo swap and tune is a 11 sec car. Camry is following suit as they are dropping their V6 and going hybrid only for their 2025 model.

When you say bi-weekly, do you mean twice a week or once every two weeks? You don’t have to answer that, but this is challenging for people who are not native speakers and frankly for some who are.

Yes, even a lot of educated native speakers get it wrong. The key is understanding the definitions of the prefixes. bi- literally means double, and in a time context that translates to "every other". semi- literally means half, which in a time context translates to "twice during".

The easiest way to remember this IMO is to think of your paycheck. The vast majority of employees get paid either bi-weekly (every two weeks, typically every other Friday) or semi-monthly (twice a month, typically the 1st and 15th).

I’m a native English speaker and I always thought biweekly meant twice a week.

all this talk about pedestrian (and deer) road deaths reminds me of the podcast i just listened to.
it goes into all the reasons believed for why pedestrian deaths have skyrocketed recently in the u.s. (but not worldwide).

once every 2 weeks... twice a week would make the fuel bill too high for my tastes lol

one of those cars cost a bit more new than the other and has over 4 more liters of displacement, but a great story nonetheless haha... like comparing an MLB player to a junior varsity one

i didn't know they dropped the 2.0T, that's a damn shame! either way the 9th gen accord is the last one that interested me, i think it looks just right for what it is and of course has the V6

An old gen Accord would absolutely have left me in the dust... That's my point lol.

The discontinued Accord 2.0T did 0-60 in 5.5 seconds and was called "too fast" by C&D, and no matter what gets said on this forum, I see a lot of them versus the base engine.

And yep, same crap with the Camry. It had a 303hp monster V6 gone for hybrid only.

Awful times.
