Extend CPO Term Cost vs MSRP
For TLDR: Does anyone know the cost of additional CPO coverage on an L/Certified vehicle?
I'm looking to buy a '21 LS500 and want to add on two more years of CPO coverage due to the air suspension and that the LS is only average in reliability. I've tried searching the forums to see if anyone knows what the cost is vs what is charged to get an idea of what is a good deal. The dealer texted me and said 2 years is about $3,500, any more and I should buy Platinum.
So does anyone know what the cost should be if it's a good deal? The dealer is 300 miles away so we are only talking/texting on the phone. I made an offer for 1k over the car's listed price, which would include the additional 2 years of CPO. Oddly, they didn't respond, but if they say no, I'd like to know what would be reasonable. Or if I can go to another dealership and buy the additional 2 years.
In some other threads, I found people who sell the VSA Platinum coverage, but I would prefer CPO as I drive a lot.

For what it’s worth, I was able to add 2 additional years of L/Certified coverage for $1895. Based on what the finance manager told me on their other products I expect the actual cost for those 2 years was $1450 to $1695. Then each additional year was listed at $400/year so again I think the actual cost is $200 to $300.
