Can we perhaps have the normal LBX here? I would buy one on lease to just use as a daily beater for my wife if she can stomach stepping down lol!

She has a thing for small cute cars so there is a chance....

Reason they are investing in GR Yaris and also LBX is because these vehicles sell well. GR Yaris sold 18k in Europe alone, which is huge number for something as niche... so of course they are doing an LBX version.
I have no idea what you are talking about. I'm saying they should discontinue the UX in the U.S. and bring the regular LBX here.

It's difficult to hate this LBX Morizo.
As a european, I see similar cars on my road daily. The GS, RC and IS are rare cars. They where not liked by the consumers. I don't know why, but they didn't encountered the success they diserve.
So trying to go with the time and bringing a car the peoples actually want doesn't seem a bad idea.
It is a pity to have discontinued the IS on the european market the exact year where he became totally badass looking though, and I blame the short sight of the Lexus execs for that.

This looks more like a Yaris than vanilla LBX somehow.

I think for a city car in Japan - it makes sense.
It should be a Toyota not Lexus imo.

They need to do a special Performance variant of the LC500 before 5.0 V8 is dead.

Probably because buyers have easy access to BMW/Audi/Mercedes instead so they have no reason to want those.

Its more like Europeans prefer their own brands. Lexus is growing though with its full hybrid lineup.

I don't think so. I think it's a matter of the domestic options being better so they pick them, just like we did with import cars vs ours and how in China they perfer foreign

LBX will sell well, as Merc and Audi have exited small hatch back segment.

Toyota will never get the interior treatment of a Lexus, they have been going a bit backwards with more cheap hard plastics. So I believe there is a market for the LBX.

That certainly plays a part. Reliability of European cars made in their local regions are better made and more reliable, or so I've heard. I mean taxi drivers uses MB cars, so it says something if it can take the beating by a taxi driver.
