Default Fabulous dilemma

Ever since I found out the Ist/vitz was comming to the states I wanted to ****** one up and mod it. I think I found the perfect kit/wheels but everytime I look at it it screams rice. I was wondering what everyone else here thought about it. On top of that my freinds that I ask say "you are way to white for that car" or "white boy ______" ect... So far the plan for the GS has there seal of approval (heh like it matters what they think) what do you guys think?

Thumbs up? Thumbs down?

I know many on here like it, but for my opinion, there is not a thumbs down big enough. Sorry

Likewise. I never liked the look of those types of cars. To me, it screams minivan with the way it looks.

Sorry again.

I'll just say if you're gonna get that car, make it look like that. I'm not a big fan of the car itself, but that thing looks evil and badass

I like the way it looks with the fabulous kit... but then again I do have strange taste every now and then- haha- I do like some of the VIP mini vans and modded Scion Xb's... the way I see it is if you think its cool- then go for it... others will think it is cool if you take time and use some class and judgement in your modding decisions.

Heres the thing, I'm really content with the plan I have now for the GS and I think that if I have a "Classy" Sedan (http://www.waldusa.com/images/GS_(93-97)_f.jpg) then it'd be cool to have a crazy car that I could take out every so often. Its like...

Pros:
In your face styling
Lightweight
Toyota
5 Speed
Unique
Turboed to 250+ hp makes that a fast little bugger

Cons:
In your face styling
Getting my *** kicked/shot/stabbed

I still would like more imput though.

Is that the old VItz? I thought it looked different? And Scion is coming with a 2-door coupe with the 180hp I-4 from the GTS Celica.

I say do it dude.

Toyota Ist = Scion xA

I think i'm going to do it as a winter project (seeing as how it'll take 2 months just for the kit to arrive)

I think the thing that keeps me away from it is those eyelids, any thoughts on those?

I prefer the car without eyelids.....it reminds me of Honda Oddyssy.

So get this, seeing as how I have like... 24/7 munchies I figure i'd go down to wendys and get something to eat. I drive by the toyota dealership and i'm looking at there used lot.

They've got the GS that they STILL havn't sold and a IS and a few RXs and a Scion xA and a GX... but wait... a xA? WTF A xA??

So I pull in and look at it and sure enough! it was a xA! Ever since the bently I saw at red lobster i've had a (crappy) digital camera in my car at all times. Here it is:

have you tried to build one from the Scion website? It was a pretty unique experence.
I pretty much added all the options. It came out to be $17,000. Blue, with blue paddles, blue shift ****, blue lights...... pretty cool

Too bad I don't have the $$$ though.....
