I had a 3.6L in my Lacrosse. and it ran like a gem....smooth, silky, and with plenty of torque. The only reason i traded that car was that it was too large for my current driving needs, too low to the ground, and too bulky for easy maneuvering/parking.
I always found it really weak under 4k rpm and very loud/gruff vs the Lexus 3.5 engines, they also tend to kill chains among a list of other serious issues.

There is a reason 3.6 cars are so cheap used lol!
Are you talking about the first-generation 3.6 or the second? The second corrected a number of problems in the first, and was highly respected by the auto-press.
Actually, that is (more or less) what Chevys are for. Buicks are generally a step above Chevies on the premium-ladder.
Rental car lots don't discriminate. I've seen plenty of Enclaves, Encores, and Envisions for rent in my travels. That's also why Enterprise has 192 Buicks for sale on their website with the vast majority being ex rentals.

Any and all of them. The base, the DI doesn't matter.....all have issues and none really had much power down low vs competitors
See the problem is I am talking smack but if the lease deals on the Envista get good enough I will buy one. Heck I am at the point I am seriously considering a cheap CUV lease as a work vehicle because overall costs and write offs, plus when it's cold outside I can just limiter tap it until I get heat like some people do lol!
