mark was playing the humor (humour?) super dry here lol... once you view the whole video through a satirical lens it's pretty damn good

although tbh idk if i laughed more at the savagegeese vid or the actual hyundai ad! a trash based fashion show in the metaverse? i mean they actually tried to make a big deal over how the car allows her to rest and relax for no other reason than the drivers seat reclines lmaooo

so did i just now to see i had missed some great humor in it. sure the mannequin and goggles gags were cheap laughs but only the first time for me. he clearly is not enjoying himself. jack had to do most of the actual review.

so if someone doesn't share your sense of humor, you must insult them.

i find many things funny... ricky gervais, monty python / john cleese, john candy, george carlin, dilbert cartoons, far side, to name a few.

i do realize yes that he was wearing the stupid goggles when on screen and his mannequin made a few appearances in front and back seat. he's basically not a fan of ev's and comes across now as a cranky boomer.

glad some found it very funny for sure, but his view counts don't lie. his most popular videos are from 5-7 years ago. now with most down to under 100k, he's not making much of a living.

i'm all for humor, but someone watching a car review channel might want a wee bit more of a review. doesn't have to be as starchy dull as alex on autos though!

It's an EV, there isn't much to go over tech wise that they didn't already cover with the first car they reviewed on this architecture. Driving experience is the same etc...

Look he is not wrong. Cars of today are boring as ever. most reviewers talk about superficial things that are practically the same from car to car.

Even engines are boring to talk about, drive any Toyota or Lexus today and it’s likely to have the exact same engine. There is just no variety anymore. Interior wise, it’s the same story.

One also doesn't have to comment if they think something someone else thinks is funny isn't funny.

Its just a funny video, doesn't have to be analyzed to death, or argued about. If someone wants an honest review of this car, there are hundreds of them on YouTube. Don't continue to be a vibe killer please. Our cars are ugly, our food is nasty, what we think is funny isn't funny...its tiresome.

Toyota and Lexus usually have the same engines all over the line up. Nothing has changed actually. There actually might be more exclusive engines in each brand in the modern era compared to the past.

I think the issue is that it is an EV. EV sales are softening so less people are wanting to watching these videos.
