This is the most epic Savagegeese video review ever

Lexus had v6, v6 hybrid, v8, v8 hybrid, performance v8, straight 6 in various fwd and rwd.
In fact, driving a RX today with only a 4 cylinder says it all.

The study suggests that not finding things funny could be linked to brain function. The dorsal striatum, involved in understanding jokes, and the ventral striatum, key in enjoying them, might not work the same in everyone. This could explain why some people don't often find humor in things.

Correct. Lexus was an example. Look, you have nothing to prove by saying otherwise. Engine choices have been significantly reduced.

in response to you asking is it wrong that you find it funny that an argument started over is something funny or not?

But Toyota and Lexus have more power train options than ever before. Especially when it comes to hybrid models. Toyota still uses the LS600h 5.0L/hybrid in Japan…. New V6 plug in…RX and NX plug ins…. It’s just a different era. They still have the performance V8
Don’t forget Lexus once had a V10

I like his vids, his wry humor and jaded honesty, even if I don't agree with him on some things.
He's not like some of the click bait reviewers out there, and you can see the love he puts into some of his vids.

Correct, I interpreted her comment to mean less volume. It would be hard to continue the percentage of growth, since we're now at a much higher starting point. The number of BEV sales will continue to climb, as the data is showing so far this year.

Apparently Nissan is cutting production of EVs in China (or something along those lines)

newsflash, i don't think it's just bev's that might be slowing, i think it's all vehicles.

Global PHEV growth for example shot up 91% in Jan 2024 (BEV grew 48%), and in the USA hybrid sales grew faster than BEV sales (65% vs 46%)
That's why you saw the pivot of major automakers away from their hyped BEV strategies to one that starts mimicking Toyota, with an emphasis on a broader portfolio of PHEVs and HEVs, along with BEVs.
The early adopters of BEV have already bought BEVs, and it will now be harder to push such a radical change to mass buyers (thus, the slowing market). The new emphasis seems to be on moving many people first to HEVs (or PHEVs) before the probably inevitable move to BEVs or some other cleaner technology.

Profitability is improving, not softening. When a company invests a lot, their profitability goes down, thats just common sense. As they are able to capitalize on those investments profitability will improve.
