Thumbs up

TXSTYLE,

Your car is really sweet.

Im really starting to like how the Z looks. When they first came out, i thought it was ugly, but now i think it look real nice especially in person. With nice wheel the Z looks real hot, and for the $$$$ its one of the best sports cars you can buy.

Thanks for the compliments and enthusiasm guys.
The car has been a COMPLETE Blast to drive and own! Without question...One of the BEST Car/$$$ ratios on the Planet! Can you believe it has already been over a year since I got it?
I'm at @ 20k miles and being broken-in coupled with the BORLA true-dual w/ K&N, it is definitely stronger than stock! (just the BORLA netted 20hp to the wheels )
No siniquezu, I don't know if I'm gonna still do that...?

The SAGA continues........

Left in the dust.....

How's the interior doing TX? I know some people expressed dislike for the "cheap" interior of the z's.

Not a problem! It's NOT my GS4, but then again.......I love my "custom seats".

u said the borla gained u 20 at the wheels? how did u figure this? did u dyno the car? i don't think a supra turbo would gain 20 at the wheels just by an exhaust. no flames here, just questions

Yes.......I did. Since I try and be as honest as possible...I will admit that I didn't do a baseline prior to install, (but there have been many people who have, and posted it up on the 350Z Boards.) My Best Dyno thus far was 247 whp (mid-80's temp w/ a heavy set of 19' wheels). I am scheduled for another pull real soon since it's cooled down.
I would say my seat-o-the-pants feeling would agree with these gains. But....! The guys who did a baseline prior to install have gotten and I quote: 10, 16, 22, 24 hp gains. These are just a few and obviously, yes, some fairly big differences in gains. But if you know about dynoeing, then you know just how MANY factors determine final numbers: temp, break-in, weight of wheels, and of course machine and who's conducting the dyno.
So I should have stated what BORLA has claimed and what others have gained after an actual baseline and install pull since I don't know what my actual baseline was. But again, judging by my "feel" and what others have indeed averaged...I stand by the 20hp gain. As you will also agree, that is a significant number, right? Well my car "Pulls SIGNIFICANTLY Harder" through all gears!
The stock exhaust comes off the headers into a single pipe all the way to the mufflers. The BORLA as you can see is true-dual and larger in overall diameter.

A few pics during install: *note* Final line-up had not been completed.

Actually, this Shop prides itself on "Top-Notch" installs. So no "sweating" needed.

Damn, TX- I've been planning all along on buying a 97 sc300 5 speed as and upgrade to my current 93, and then going all out on it. But now you almost have me wanting a G35 coupe
