striker would be disappointed in my typical E55 session lol, i’d be leaving too much available performance still on the table

also in terms of cornering and track driving i’ve really only ever reached the limits in gran turismo haha... i’ve driven 160+ on the pocono raceway oval but i’d love to have a go on an actual grand prix circuit! the nurburgring especially since i already know the course so well, virtually at least lol

What can you do about it, you ask? Very simple. Do what Steve and I do.....live and drive in a manner that electronic spying on you won't mean anything. If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about.

I don't drive or live any certain way...I just don't care what anybody thinks about what I do. If they want to charge me more because of how I drive, I'll pay more.

And as we’ve seen, even that may not be enough. A single short drive—that you may not even be aware has occurred—may be enough to jack up your rates by 20% or more. Your impeccable driving record besmirched by a 17 year old you never even met.

That's the thing, the techs were opting in for them without their knowledge. Dealers have been known to have some shady employees. Have you heard? LOL

Then they should lawyer up and sue them.

This is on my toyota app. If I decline, then I won’t be able to use the remote features and other features that I find useful

I'm not surprised, and actually pleased for once, that lawyers will get fat on a class action lawsuit.

These are the services I originally agreed to, but revoked a couple of days ago. I have found that the Enform navigation is wanting, and especially with having Waze, Apple maps, etc. on CarPlay, that I stopped using it after the first couple of months. I did use the remote unlock/lock feature occasionally useful, but didn't feel like it, nor the other features were worth the tradeoff.

Wow. I just checked out LexisNexis' website...they should change their name to Big Brother Inc.

Again, it will be interesting to learn what those, who requested a report from LexisNexis, find.

Then click Yes. Why do you care if anonymous locational data is used by Toyota? This is totally different than what we are talking about.

Based on the technology expert I spoke to at my Lexus dealer, it was all or nothing.

What evidence do you have that Toyota/Lexus is sharing information that can be used against you like this OnStar situation?
