I don’t agree, I bet you will see a ton of these around the DC area. I would buy this over the regular Escalade…

We'll see.... I could see the government using them, perhaps (around DC like you say). Or, perhaps not. At least it's a Cadillac.

The best comparison for it in the current lineup is the Escalade-V ESV, which starts at $157k. Either of the Platinum trims (Sport or Luxury) start at $119k.

I really like the looks of this new QX80. It has some Range Rover vibes from the side. But that price tag is very steep. $84k for the base model? And over $110k for the top of the line? Yikes

Yeah, Infiniti just isn't there to charge 6 figures for something I don't think. Can't blame em for trying though.

I agree. As someone who recently bought one of these (2021), I see way too much Nissan in the truck and not enough luxury to justify that price tag. This new one looks WAY nicer on the inside, but I'd think this feels right to have the top end model around $85-$90k.

I'm interested to see how they sell here, probably they'll do well. There are tons of current/older ones around here but they're wayyyyy cheaper.

We'll see.

Private individuals will buy them

As for the price, $100k isn't what it used to be. I don't see how this could be any cheaper than it is.

Escalade IQ is about 9,000 pounds which is ridiculous. Hummer EV didn't move a needle and neither will Escalade IQ. I'm assured top of the line QX80 will outsell Escalade IQ by quite some margin.

Escalade IQ has much more mainstream appeal than the Hummer EV. I couldn't possibly care less how heavy or light it is if it delivers the performance I'm looking for.

Wow. Even at it's power level it won't be that fast then.

The Hummer is also 9,000 lbs, and does 0-60 in 3 seconds flat. Seems plenty quick for a small house.

It will be at least as fast as the V8 Escalade

The more I look at the QX80 pictures, the more I like it.
