I always seem to come back to black interiors!

 

Nothing wrong with black, but after 25 years I'm just horribly tired of it. So the Q7 has Saddle Brown, and the M3 has Kyalami Orange. No more boring colors!

 

Same here. 20 years of black interiors was enough, I needed a change. White interior for me and I love it.

I love that Kyalami Orange interior on your M3.

 

I always need a change, have a change and then go back to black lol

 

stasek's 5 Series looks really good in black. Mine has the Ivory White interior. Initially I was a bit concerned, but It's been surprisingly easy to maintain. Sorry this picture is so big.

 

I had black forever until I decided to try white in the LS460, I liked it but it was hard to own/care for and other people were always a concern. I went back to mostly black interior with the W12 but I got the version where the seats are deep brown instead with matching leather inserts in the door cards.....I think this type of contrast is what I like best.

Its really not that bad at all. You have a lot of modern products out there like interior ceramic coatings etc that make caring for a light interior like that easy. Its also mainly just me in the car, most weeks when I clean it I just vacuum the drivers floormat and thats it. The 2020 Pacifica we had had white seats, and if I can keep them clean in a minivan anybody can in their car they routinely just drive themselves lol

 

I'm not worried about the heat as you can always use remote start. Black is classic. I only had black once I think. It was over 10 years ago. I always feel like a newer/different color is a nice touch. Modern cars have many new colors. BMW's Silverstone is nice too, not as light as Ivory or Macchiato. I'm not worried about light colors either. It's easy to see where needs cleaning.

 

That's the point.
