Well I think you can see in the dash cam that the TB maxxed out at about 100 mph. Once the police had what they saw was a safe window, they took the TB out. I'm sure they could have easily done it much sooner if they thought the road conditions warranted a safe maneuver.
Yep. At no point were the police being limited by the fact that the perp's car was too fast. They hung back until he became too much of a danger to be allowed to continue and they promptly ran up to him and ended it. They could have reeled him in any time but picked their spot.
3 cylinders are some of the fastest engines, except for every other engine.
wow, didn't know about that site. that's kinda scary.
Kinda nifty though when I'm shopping for used cars and the listing doesn't bother mentioning which engine the vehicle has(Dealers are really bad about this, for example, with GM trucks).
We have a '23 Nissan rogue with a 3 cylinder turbo and it's plenty of power for everyday driving. Not only that, it gets 30mpg without breaking a sweat, and 35-40 with a little work. I am a fan.
We also have a '23 MDX with~300hp 6 cylinder and honestly, there's no preference towards it from my end. I could drive either with no problems.

Wrong. The non-turbo Mickey-Mouse three-bangers of the 1980s couldn't get out of their own way, but the turbo-threes of today can outrun some larger non-turbo engines.
A prime example is the Corolla GR, with 300 HP, 295 ft-lbs. of torque, and a three-pedal 6-speed manual.

Now compare that to the RS3.....or a base A4 with an OTS tune lol!
