Yep, the guy who curbed my wheel also seemed to be 40s/50s.

I do like the idea, so long as I know they will actually take responsibility if something happens. I need to start taking photos when I drop the car off. I might have to do it outside the service bay so I don't look like a ***** lol.

Oh I always take them inside the bay and also do a full scan and take pictures of all readouts with my full size scan tool sitting on the hood.

I think of it as their warning lol!

True, that may work.

Though in the case of the Lexus, I think they've got me on some kind of list. They always have their "master tech" work on my car now lol.

That is a perk of having the IS 500 over something like the G70 3.3T. While, on paper, they are quite similar cars, I feel they Lexus dealership folks treat me better because they know the IS 500 is somewhat of an unusual car. The G70 3.3T isn't exactly commonplace, but I would say it seems like almost half of G70's I've seen in the wild were 3.3T. But IS 500's are something I see maybe once a month or less out in the wild. I do see ISes quite frequently, almost always 350 or 300 though. So, in my specific situation, I'd probably only ever get a G70 if I was also getting rid of the IS 500 to make my "fun" car something else - while the G70 would be a daily.
