This is approaching insanity, a pickup?? That's as fast as an Escalade V.
I've never said anything about turbos not providing great performance.
Hope these motors hold up.

13 flat and 105MPH in the 1/4??? In a damn 1500??? Seriously impressive.

Somebody screenshot this, Jill just called a turbo inline-6 impressive.
Ford has to answer this. They've been comfortable at the top of the pack for speed with their Ecoboost engines for 15 years, regularly smoking every other half-ton on the market and now they're caught with their pants down. It's too bad the ground-up inline 6 ecoboost they had planned was cancelled during COVID.

Yeah I don't either. On TFL's 112-mile loop (mostly highway), the big three landed thusly:
1st) Ford F-150 Tremor 5.0L V8: 19.1 MPG
2nd) GMC Sierra AT4X 6.2L V8: 18.3 MPG
3rd) Ram 1500 Rebel 3.0L TT I6: 17.2 MPG
That was with the standard output Hurricane. Obviously a non-offroad trim with street tires will do slightly better (in all 3 cases--this is a true apples vs. apples comparison), but the results should remain directionally correct.

It makes total sense to me lol! Driven the same turbos tend to drink more unless tricks like cylinder deactivation are used at cruise.
My Audis prove that well, once I removed the cylinder deactivation from the 4.0 it and the 6.3 get the same MPG
