I don’t like either of the sedans Nissan is killing off and have never been a fan of the brand. Altimas are best known in SoCal for being a top choice of *** hole drivers. Both sedans have a reputation of being a car of choice for people with less than stellar credit. Of course, the Rogue has that reputation too and that’s probably the future vehicle choice for the same drivers.
Both the Rogue and Rogue Sport sell like free beer at Happy Hour.....that's probably the true reason for the Nissan sedans being discontinued.
Pretty much your typical Memphis Altima! Except for the ricer accessories, I don’t see that. Should add highbeams on at night to that list. Every single dilapidated car in Memphis drives with their highbeams on at night! It’s infuriating!
I know a guy that used to sell Nissan back in the late 2010s. He sold so many base trim Altimas to people who really wanted a Maxima, but didn’t have good enough credit or income to buy one.

That's because the windshield is so coated in smoke residue they can't see out of it lol!
The clapped out cars likely drive with high beams on because one or both low beams don’t work. Here, lots of people drive with only DRLs on at night. Apparently, they are not observant enough to know the headlights aren’t on and/or not smart enough to use the auto setting.
So I guess Nissan is doing the all Crossover/SUV thing + the Frontier? This is a dreadfully boring, uninspiring lineup for 2025. I will say I do like the Frontier a lot but that's it.
Nissan's future looks bleak to me. Bring Carlos Ghosn back?

Ha! Yeah didn’t think of that,

Yep. Or they’re headlights are hazy and yellowed, and or misaligned.

They should bring back the XTerra. That thing would be printing money right now…

Agreed! Those were cool back in the day, and basically just an SUV version of whatever the small Nissan pick up was at the time. As long as they still produce a small pickup truck today(which I don't actually know), it shouldn't be that much work to create an SUV off of it.

My only concern is the XTerra is the official vehicle of crazy people
Well, if you are going to make that statement, you probably would have to say the same thing about the Ford Bronco (not the Bronco Sport) and Jeep Wrangler. The XTerra was aimed at the same rock-crawling buyer as the other two are now.
