Took them long enough but I think it looks sharp enough! Some awkwardness in the grill, but everything is awkward these days so whatever.
Also has the same interior as (insert your favorite brand here) with the one long screen stretching to the center of the dash that you'll find in just about everything from Hyundai, Lexus, Kia, BMW, Cadillac and more, except they added an additional stupid screen for the passenger.
That wagon is lovely though. And just show me the RS models.

sharp except for those white donut holes on the front.

I get the ethos of "show the tech" but can they stop with the exposed sensors already? Hood strakes also annoy me and reminds me of a dodge dart, IMO needs to be more angular at the hood and headlights......IDK not really doing it for me. I see too much E class in it

it has a bit of a kia k5 vibe.

The more I look the more I hate it. Interior is nice other than the spare screen that no one will use vs a phone or iPad.

Apparently the US is the only country that doesn't get the 48V mild hybrid system. Seems like a bit of a BS reason when Mercedes and BMW have rolled them out en masse and also makes up a good chunk of Audi's current models.

Under the bulged hood will be a 268-hp 2.0-liter turbo-4 in the A5 and a 362-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 in the S5. Audi says the engines are more efficient than their predecessors, but the North American market will not get the mild-hybrid system and its 48-volt lithium ion phosphate battery available in other markets. American customers don't want the engine shutting off while coasting, Audi said, and the EPA gains would be negligible.

audi makes many great designs but this one seems more 'generic' than 'special'.
it's trying a bit for the e-tron coupe look but not succeeding.

That stupid trunk lid and lower grills are the most offensive things to me. I never thought generic features would **** me off so much lol!

However It's not as bad because at least the grill is still fully angular and not smoothed out like a freaking accord with an underbite to boot. Plus the doors have much more defined lines etc

I can't tell from the press releases if it's just going to be a straight sedan, or if there will a SportBack. I hope they keep the SportBack--I like the sedan-looking hatchback style.
