Striker, while the 6.2 is plenty stout and actually relatively efficient while towing… the old big blocks would tow to Saturn and back 5 times. The whole thing is iron, not aluminum, for starters. 8.1L is MASSIVE displacement.
I’m sure you know these were slower than the non heavy duty versions. They’re that beefy and heavy, cut out to tow.

Having a quality independent (even better a brand-specific one) is absolutely clutch for owning a European car. I do quite a bit of my own work, but have a local shop run by a BMW Master Mechanic that does literally everything that I don't. He's fairly priced (though far from cheap) and does fantastic work, so I've been using him for 10+ years and have referred a couple dozen people to him.
I don't recommend letting anyone touch your cars for anything more than tires unless they specialize in these brands.
I've never owned an Audi but I imagine a must for an Audi too.

I can fit one car in my garage and two in my driveway. That's it.
I can't even have street parking anymore because my new neighbor across the street seems to be running an auto repair business out of his house and always has a broken down car sitting in front of my house because he's used up all his space.

Does your city or town not have a by-law preventing this?
