Hummers have always been like that.

Third, they are difficult for body shops if the vehicle needs repair or repainting.
It’s not my cup of tea. But I absolutely understand the appeal. Matte vehicles are very striking and attention grabbing.

Even with a normal glossy paintjob I never take my car through an automated car wash. Those things are rough.

Its not the V8 because the airbox is on the opposite side of engine bay.

It’s not just the engine, it’s the other issues others are reporting. With that being said I literally just saw a commercial advertising 1.9% for 48 months on new Tundra. I know the 2nd gens used to have 0% for 60 or 72 month specials a lot. If they bring back 0% for 60-72 months for the new tundra, then things get interesting.

I am absolutely dreading ever working on one of these, that is so much wasted space with easily broken plastics between the engine and the front of the car.....plus the fact I am certain the packaging is peak Toyota aka just shove it in there.

No room to work on the engine.
But, lots of room to work on stuff that never dies, like the horn. Lol

Good! My cars are the same way to me! Just, I can’t even turn a wrench lol. I have to pay for all the work.

My 5.7 is a beater, I’m at 14k miles on this oil and need an oil change and I’m taking it to a drive up 10 minute place today, lol. They did the Buick and did a good job a while back. LX is just a Toyota truck, though I am taking it to Lexus for AHC change. Hadn’t driven it in a month bc I’ve been driving the Yukon, we switched for the week. LX feels and drives new still with 140k on it.

I have the Pirelli Scorpion A/S Plus 3 on the Pacifica, they are excellent. So smooth and quiet, enthusiastically recommend them.

The full RR interior is incredible. Great materials everywhere....great build quality. The RR Sport is also good, but not as good.

That is beautiful! I love the matte look. It's probably Steve's lol. The 580 just wasn't cutting it.
LOL, too rich for my blood!

I'm in NJ, we have both cars. My MIL is having colon cancer surgery this morning (very early, she will be fine) and the kids are with my wife's sister and her family about an hour away. I let my Brother in law drive the S580 yesterday, he's never driven anything remotely like it, they're just not car people...he was blown away lol

I think 14k miles requires the owner to do the "walk of shame". Lol

Shame, shame... 😀
