They say 45 now to start. I’m 43 but I’m going to try and get my doctor to order one.

For sure. We had our first ones done in our early 40s, and are going to re-do them every 5 years. The procedure itself is not bad at all. The day leading up to the procedure is pretty brutal though.

Absolutely. My MIL had a colonoscopy scheduled that was cancelled during COVID. she tried to schedule one a couple more times and they kept getting cancelled. She saw a commercial for ColoGuard on TV and ordered the kit and mailed the sample away, and that’s how they found it! That commercial saved her life.

Top Tier Gasoline
As the owner of a fine 2024 Lexus ES300h and an equally fine 2009 ES350, I am mindful of using excellent motor oils and gasolines. I find it laughable that when traveling and inquiring of service station attendants if they have Top Tier gasolines and receiving answers of all sorts. The most common response by far is a blank look. Anyone else notice this? Anyone ever seen it posted on a gas pump?

Here's an official list of the approved Top-Tier Brands, so you don't have to ask those blank-look artists. I myself recommend Shell or Chevron, if either one is available in your area....they generally have the best detergent-additives.

When on a trip I personally feel it matters far less than day to day of you get too tier or not, if they don't have it where you stop (highly unlikely) or the station you want for other reasons doesn't then you can always just buy a bottle of Techron to drop in as you fuel. I often stop at Sheetz or equivalent but get fuel elsewhere when on trips but I almost never stop more than once since I have enough range to get trips done in one stop.

Pulled out of my driveway and a mile from the house it's starts pouring rain today and then all of the sudden traffic stopped cold.
I sat for 20 mins and barely creeped a few inches.
What was all the fuss?
A big wreck in the middle of a 4 way intersection.
A green mustang T-boned...
Looked like he was trying to make the light in the rain.
Rant over. Lol

Hers was 6.5 hours! Size of a baseball. It took so long because her colon was wrapped around her spleen and it took forever to get it free so that they could resect it. She’s doing well. Same thing, have to see the pathology report.

Good luck, speedy recovery and no relapses to all involved, ***** this disease.
P.S. no sedation is not as bad as you'd think.

‘The ES300h is rated for regular whereas the 350 is rated for premium. I think in 2012 Lexus downgraded to regular and the car lost 8HP without the premium
yikes. What was Lexus thinking
me neither.
Apples and Oranges, Jill. I don't have that Copper Ice Metallic color pictured above....that was a new shade introduced for 2024, with the front-end and dash redesign. I have an older 2021 model, with the brownish Burnished Bronze Metallic color that was discontinued in 2022.
seems respectable.
Casino is a movie with lots of flashy stuff. Clothes, jewelry etc. That car is flashy but not in a great way.
Yes, something like that on the LX. There has been so much going on with my surgery and an emergency surgery for a family member(she’s fine), just haven’t gotten around to it. I did yesterday and they said the old oil looked just fine.
Still have the Buick, it’s actually a great car and has proved itself over the years. We had a small a/c warranty issue with it years ago but that’s it. It is as comfortable as all get out and drives and rides very well. I’d drive it to California in a heartbeat.

In this family we just hang onto vehicles. No reason to trade that in for what 6 grand? It gets used as a second car all the time.
you mean a real Hummer?

They made 3 of them in 1965. I saw what is believed to be the only surviving one in a museum last month. They opted not to put it into production because the option cost would have been around $500 and they didn't expect it would sell.

God that would have been insane. No more crowd seeking missiles and by far would be the best deal for pure speed
