There are a few dealers willing to sell for sticker just have to widen your search. Some dealers will pick you up from the airport if you fly in or even comp your flight. Dealer where I got my truck from comped over half the cost of my flight.

4 parking spots??? 😔
BTW That model X in the background was doubled parked as usual. 🤣

I believe it. My friend sells Hondas. Last FL5 he said they sold also went for $10k over.

I really need to stop looking at trucks.
I don't need one but I want one.
With a dump bed. Lol

I totally get it. It’s not for everyone.

Since Back to the Future has been on Netflix and I’m laid up recovering I think to myself “what would shock someone from 1955, or 1985 even?”
The prevalence of pickup trucks and giant SUV that are literally luxury- car nice would seriously confuse someone from the past at first. Trucks used to be just crap that did their jobs well but that was it. No frills.
I have no desire for a luxury sedan anymore, not even an S-Class… not really. My $150,000 would go for an Escalade V.

The first pickup I remember that tried to be luxury was that Lincoln Mark around 2008 or so.

I would have no interest in driving an Escalade V every day. As a fun car sure. No SUV matches the driving experience of a luxury sedan

So, EV silence starting up and driving off in a luxury sedan which is fine if it’s your thing.
Meanwhile I’d rather have this:
A BOF won’t have luxury car dynamics, I agree… but who cares, personally. GM has these things so honed in, they are excellent vehicles. They ride and drive quite quite well, I guess we just don’t agree. The Denali continues to blow me away. It shrinks big time driving it and is so easy and pleasant to drive and frankly doesn’t behave the way you describe your BOF experiences… not that I’m saying you’re wrong.

I considered the V for about a second and built one online just to see how much it would be and it was in the ballpark but I just don’t need something that big and I like a smaller SUV that handles better anyway vs a land barge. Still a cool car and I’ve only seen two ever in person. I like them but wish there was something more that distinguished it from the regular model besides the square exhaust tips.

The W223 is far and away the quietest car I have ever had. Its really amazing, and I've had some quiet cars as you know. I got both cars washed today and the difference in the carwash of the sound of the mitters slapping against the car is incredible.

Not to say its a bad vehicle, its not they are great vehicles they just aren't for me for daily use. As a family vehicle for road trips and stuff like that, absolutely...it would be my first choice.
