Again, you've never driven either car and I have owned both but please tell me more about how the car I own compares to the one I owned before it lol
Opinions are fine, but you are totally closed minded on this and have zero personal experience from which to form an opinion. Its really strange. You would never know there was a difference between the two cars.
My S580 gets 20% better fuel economy than my S560, and drives exactly the same if not better...what is the issue? Again I've owned both cars you've never driven either, so don't tell me what kind of fuel economy difference there is.
The 48v system is not only there for fuel economy, some of the car's new features most notably the eABC suspension require the 48v system.
These are my last two trips to WV, top was the S560 in late May, and bottom is the S580 in August...thats a significant fuel economy improvement for no tradeoff:

I don’t like hybrid stuff or electric motors, it doesn’t matter why and I don’t owe anyone any explanation. It’s an opinion. I wouldn’t want to deal with all that years down the line. Remember I keep cars for decades. You are also pro EV, I am not. EV=batteries. I’m not surprised you like it. My friend who owns one doesn’t.

Code it to default to off, make it so you need to opt for it to activate so you aren't constantly dropping oil PSI to zero. It will help your bearings

Is there no start/stop disable button in W223?
In W222 it’s right with the ignition.
I get having cars coded or whatever but it’s not a big deal to hit a dedicated button to disable it.

Of course there is a button, the button in the W222 is not right with the ignition its on the console, the button for the W223 is right below the ignition. Hitting the button every time is obnoxious.

There is probably a function in the screen to turn it on or off, both my friends BMW'S you can disable start/stop with a button

I'm pretty sure with the 48V system it doesn't drop oil PSI to zero, thats one of the benefits over the start/stop on 12v systems.

a simple (or maybe not so simple lol) software optimization would be enough to make things right
