I put a deposit down awhile back with Cioccia Corvette because they were offering it at msrp. I’m still in the 700s on their wait list! Lol
I’m sure i can probably get one now from local dealers at msrp but i recently bought something else instead so in no rush.
I still have yet to drive any C8s to see how they feel.

I'm hoping that's the case, anything under 200k will be amazing really......insane value for the money for sure! Even more so if you consider how weak the dollar is these days!

My Porsche snob friend's defense when I said they've never done anything like this and won't (INSANE hp from pure ICE V8) is "well you hate turbos."
Pretty lame excuse. He is right, I'm not a huge fan of turbos but on a V8 is different, even if I haven't made that clear. You have V8 torque to begin with in that situation.

For a fraction of the price ZR1 says hold my beer

Porsche still makes superior cars especially with special models like the S/T and Sport Classic.
I think Turbo S will probably keep up pretty easily with the ZR1.
The new GT3 RS is insane and the upcoming GT2 RS will be even better.
ZR1 at $200k will be a bargain, considering that is what 911 GTS hybrid costs.

It will be fun to read and watch comparos, that's for sure.
Porsche may build superior cars, but you've got to pay the piper big time to access their maximum.... This ZR1 will slay Lambos and Ferraris... and pretty much everything out there.

I guess. Where's their Pure ICE 1068hp V8? I guarantee ZR1 buyers didn't want a hybrid.

As far as ICE V8 - have you driven the NA flat 6 motors from Porsche. They also are available with manual which Corvette no longer offers.
I’m happy to give Corvette praise but they are nowhere close to being as good as the top 911 variants which also cost significantly more.

Please go watch videos of Turbo S destroying every supercar and almost every hypercar in 1/4 mile while providing a superb cabin and actual usability.

New GT3 RS with all the aero still does 0-60 in 2.7 sec and does 1/4 mile in 10.9sec. Oh ye and it only way 3100lbs.
Don’t worry a new GT2 RS is coming which will do 0-60 probably in under 2sec and hit 1/4 in the 8s but it will probably be e-turbo.

nobody has ever complained when an already potent engine gets turbo'd to make it even more awesome without sacrificing the initial goodness
