Of course, on the GMC that's 2 years old I've got some white spray paint from the roads. What should I do here, take it where? I may just turn it into insurance. What would you do?

Why cant this happen on the beater LX that has gigantic mud flaps.....

Try some tar remover on the painted or shiny surfaces.....but I wouldn't recommend tar remover on soft, vinyl, or cladded surfaces...it might fade or discolor it.

Take it to a detailer. This is no big deal at all. Certainly nothing to turn into insurance.

That's about 10 min max with a super light cut polish and a mid pad at most, heck you may be able to clay that off...
