Mercedes Cuts S-Class Production Because of Lower Sales

I know when I was recently looking at trucks, the fact that you could get massaging seats on the GMC Sierra but not the Tundra was a serious consideration. I've put off a truck buying decision for a year or so, but I was super excited when I read they added massaging seats to the Tundra for '25.
We use our Tundra on road trips, especially when pulling the travel trailer. Since we spend a lot of time in the truck, I think massaging seats would be wonderful.

I cant even drive a crossover anymore. I'm too used to sitting 20ft high with giant side mirrors. Going back to even a crossover is a pain for me let alone a regular sedan. If I'm going to buy a flagship Benz, it would have to be the GLS.

I just wonder how these huge car companies miss these obvious mistakes.
Somebody had to present to MB board this $150k EV that had Prius proportions / styling and they all voted that it was good idea!
Most Car enthusiasts knew this would be a failure as soon as they saw the car.
EV Sclass that looks like the current one would have sold much better.

The EQS concept looked amazing...the production car not so much

It has nothing to do with being an EV. The i7 is seemingly about to eclipse internal combustion 7 Series sales globally. MB's styling department simply missed the memo with the EQS.

I think that looks really cool, and the response to it online was great. This, not so much...it lost all of its muscularity and elegance

Agreed, it reminds me of an old Civic I could have leased one for $1,100 a month less than my S580 and I never even considered it.
