Good idea to trade my LS400 for a SC300 ?
My LS has all maintenance done and it’s lowered on Megan’s. Super clean , the SC300 runs but maintenance is spotty , owner doesn’t have maintenance records but fluids have been done regularly and the car is in decent condition and feels good. The SC has 216k miles and my LS has 170k.

I don't know friend.
At least with your LS you know what you have.
Trading it for an older car of the same vintage sounds risky.
I'm thinking you will have to go thru the whole car and repair as needed to get it back up to it's former glory.

Thought so.... Haha
I wouldn't worry about it but like posted above, be careful, car is older and will need work.

I would keep the LS. The SC can get expensive fast if maintenance hasn’t been kept up. If you can work on it yourself or get labor done at low prices then it could be a fun car.
I’ve had my SC300 for over 15 years. I always recommend to buy the nicest SC/Soarer you can afford or trade for.

Dude these are ancient ****bixes, it’s cool af if you can afford to keep both mint. But if it’s a matter of “one or the other” just keep what you have .
In other words, you should treat the, as hobby cars .

you want a coupe but you are likely used to the V8 in the LS = get an SC400 instead. the SC300 will not be as refined as the LS you already know plus the SC has so much more miles! it's not an even trade in my eyes (unless it's a manual).
