At what price does the Luxury Tax kick in?
For those that want a new GS or LS?
Is it $50,000?
What % is the penalty?

You guys are lucky. Here in Aus we get hit with luxury car tax (I think for cars over $50000), about 35%, plus new car tax. A friend of mine was looking into buying a Merc C200K, going for about $74000(AUD), but with all the taxes and duty it ended up being about $102000(AUD)...
