Congrats, but if you have an IS, why would you want a 325 as well?

Congratulations on the new car! After spending a couple weeks with the BMW, it would be really cool if you could let us know your thoughts about your Bimmer and Lex.

As for a comparison, hmmm, off hand, the sport suspension on the bimmer makes my IS feel inadequate, so my christmas bonus is going towards sways/springs/shocks, or sways and a coilover set. IMO, the clutch is way too soft, but engagement is a lot easier than the IS. The shifter throws are huge, feel like I'm rowing a boat. The car is very quiet, the IS stereo is better than the Harmon Kardon 12-speaker thing, IMO. The IS has quite a bit more go, but I would imagine a 330 would be closer, and with the new 6spd, a bit faster. They have their tradeoffs, but I personally like the IS better, more car for the $$$, plus a bit more masculine.

I have driven a 2003 325Ci fresh off the truck. My 325i has Koni Yellow adjustable sports and Eibach springs. Makes the 325Ci seem like a lincon in the corners in comparison.
Edit: moral of the story, mod them both.

Well, good move....you at least got a new 3-Series before Chris Bangle screws this car up like he did the
5 and 7-series.
With the IS300 and the 325 you got two of the best sports sedans in the buisness.
Now go look at a minivan for the real work.
