Default New Wheels on my Tundra

I put some new Ivan Stewart wheels on my Tundra. I did not want any Bling Bling on this truck since it's my every day driver. The others are hibernating for the winter:

Nice looking truck! I think that guy on this board who just got a 2004 F-150 should have looked at your truck!

you guys have GOT to hear that damn thing, it sounds like a muscle car or something man!!

You know me John, I would have tried to get some 22s and a drop on that thing!! then I would have to buy a everyday driver to replace my everyday driver

Well since I'm that guy let me comment.

The Tundra is a nice truck, but it doesn't have the towing capacity of a new F-150. According to Toyota's web site the max towing capacity for a 4x4 stepside is 6900 pounds.

(Check: http://www.toyota.com/vehicles/2004/...specs_4x4.html and click capacities.)

My F-150 SuperCab 4x4 can tow 9300 pounds. It's not about bragging rights, I actually need this. A gooseneck horse trailer is about 4000lbs and one horse is about 1500lbs and then there's 'stuff' (hay, saddle, tack, boots, buckets, etc., etc.) that's probably another 500lbs. That's 6000lbs and I don't want to be that close to the max. capacity as I would be with a Tundra. Of course I'd have stuck with Toyota if possible, but they just don't offer a serious truck yet.

The new wheels provide a subtle yet nice improvement

Do you have any pictures of the interior?

D- I knew that you would say something like that. You would be constantly trying to replace your everyday driver until you got to a point where you would be driving a Pinto ......

Bit, I understand your situation with the F-series. At some point I may get a car hauler for the Porsche and I don't think the Tundra will handle it?? Time will tell and if it doesn't I will be going with an F250

John nice wheels for a nice truck. Must seem like you are sitting in the clouds when driving that thing compared to your Lex and Porsche. See ya Sunday.
