A $140K SL55 with those mods, there is nothing practical at all. They could have at least got new rims, something not stock, but maybe all their budget went to the body. Looks amazing though.

Chrome cars?
Well, Flipside, what do you think of THIS one? You didn't like my suggestions for purple, lime green, etc....
Here's something that's REALLY garish. I wouldn't have something like this for all the rice in China.
For one thing, the glare would be enormous on a sunny day...you would be blinded.
In fact chrome wiper arms, A-Pillars, etc....were outlawed back in the '60's for just that reason....glare.
One production car I was reminded of when I saw this....back in the late 70's, John DeLorean left GM and set up a shop in Northern Ireland to build the brushed all-aluminum gull-wing sports car....but it was a much duller finish . His company had bad quality control and financial problems and went bust in 1981 when he was arrested with a suitcaseful of cocaine....supposedly to get cash for his firm.
I agree with one thing...........putting this car into a show would be like having a bikini-clad Pamela Anderson Lee walk into a convent during prayers.

number one, they look kinda like cgi and not real.....
2, they are definitely cool looking
3, chrome plated most likely, and not actualy chrome
4, mtm modified an audi a8 and it was polished aluminum, so it was more dull and an all aluminum car would be more expensive than chrome plating
5, those cars are cool and just became my desktop

In the 2000 Olympic Games in ATL, 20-30 Chevy CHROME Chevy pickups were driven around the commencement ceremony for the lighting of the torch. I wonder where these chrome trucks are now?

Lead Lap
Chrome wheels, chrome exhaust, and that's about it,... gold trim,... no pin stripes, no stickers ( or at least in most cases ), and no chrome paint!!!! you might mess around a blind an airplane pilot with all of that light you'd be throwing around. NOT!!!!
