Hey if it runs reliably, that's great for $100!

Ditto Bit. To put things in perspective, we all pay more for a master KEY to our cars.

I agree also, if he pays 100 for it and it lasts 6 months, I would say he got a good investment...

That is just my opinion...

i will say one thing though, they don't build cars like the good old Monarch anymore.

it is kinda scary to ride with him. and my friend is a bit nuts as well. anyway, when i first saw the car, he said "this car is great and i can do whatever i want with it." then he demonstrated by kicking the passenger side door panel.

and guess what? he didn't even make a dent! hahaha. and then just last night, my other friend told me that Rob (the owner of the monarch) jumped on the hood and walked and danced on it. NO DENTS were left on the hood.

yeah, they just don't make them like that anymore. haha.

oh, and Rob said that he saw some ricers today at a gas station jamming some bass. he turned around and stopped next to them and REVed the Monarch! the ricers got scared and got back in their cars and left! hahahaha. now, that's worth the $100 in my book. hehe.

btw, it is a 1976 model.

as for mods...i think i might get him one of those dice fuzzy things to hang on his rearview mirror.

as you saw in the picture, it already came with a cup holder!

maybe we can put some DUBS on it. hehe.
