Turn signals in the mirrors and panaromic roof yet no automatic climate control? Today on the way to school in my friend's '92 Pathfinder, we had a b1tch of a time trying to find a balance between interior temperature and the 5 degree temperature outside. Turn the **** towards the heat side and after a few minutes it get TOO HOT. Turn the **** a knotch back towards the cool end and it gets TOO COLD. It's like a game you can't win
Look on the bright side: It gets auto up/down windows with pinch protection on driver AND passenger sides.

I never minded the manual A/C on my 250. It was easy for me to get comfortable. Plus, as you hinted, the tC has so many other cool features and do-dads that I wouldn't even pay attention to the A/C.

isn't that 160hp ? the same engine as base camry?
very great looking car and build better than benz's C-coupe or dodge viper.
i wonder how much is the base one cost.

Default Scion TC

Hey guys,

Check out this car due out in June 2004. The car looks really good in my opinion!!

-The headlights look like BMW ones with the eyelids.
-Tailights remind me of Junction Produce ones.
- From the side it looks like a G35 coupe.
- Angle shot of the car reminds me of a shruken down Audi A4.

What do you guys think?Click here

Camry has 157HP and 162TQ I believe. I have heard that the tC will have 160 or 161HP and 163TQ. The 2.4L is indeed the base engine in the American Camry, but it is the top-of-the-line engine in the European-market Avensis.

EDIT: Oops. Scion site shows 159HP/162TQ. So a tick more power than the Camry.

The one in the tc is 2AZ-FE and base camry use 2AZ-FE too. i think toyota makes some tweak in that engine to make more HPS. i can't find the info about the carb weight. around 2200lbs? it should be pretty good in power-weight ratio. why don't toyota just put 2JZ-GTE in this tc and sell it under 20K.hahaha oh make it AWD too. oh with the DVD navigation/LEV audio system and leather/memory seats as standard features do i ask too much for 20K? umm i don't think so

Weight is going to be around 2900lbs. Come on, even the Celica and MR2 aren't close to 2200lbs.

Hey, it looks like a cross between an IS and the new 7-Series (or 5-series).

Default Scion Tc

I gotta agree with 1SickLex and WannanewLex...this is a nice little package, and will appeal to many of the people that Honda gave up when they dropped the old CRX. The Scion one-price no-dicker system will also make it easier for young people to buy it who are either inexperienced in price dickering or don't want to. That was one of the things that made Saturn such a success.
I'm not sure it will knock the Celica out of the market, though. The Celica, especially the GTS, is a different enough car from the Tc (even though it is the same size outside) that they appeal to two different markets.
