What high powered 4 Door Luxury Sedan would you buy for under a $120k and post your reason for buying this car:

A high HP GS or the RS6.
The GS because I love Lexus and the RS6 because they have a great interior (important because that is where you spend the most time). Recaro's ROCK!!!

For some reason, lately I find my self daydreaming about a E55, charlcoal grey/blk, with Brabus aero mods, 20" HREs, Brabus Pulley upgrade, RB tech lowering module, and a nice A/V system, nothing boomy, just nicely integrated monitors, and 1 sub.

I just think the length and proportion of that car is perfect, plus its upscale enough (Benz), but common enough (e class), not to mention that Brabus pulley upgrade would give it HP to rival the Rocket!!

I still havent voted yet, cause I like a few of the other cars too!

I agree with you 100% on the perfect size on the E-class. I must admit that Lexus really dissapointed me on the new GS. I love my current GS and was hoping at some point down the line upgrading to the new line. Maybe it needs to grow on me when it comes out on the lots. I don't think that the E-class will come close to the rocket "but nice try" J/K....at least in 3 weeks that is

I'm torn between the limited production RS6, classy E55 and regal S55...I would take any of these three, but I would not take a CL600.

My uncle had one and it was in the shop more than he drove it...tranny problems, etc...Mercedes ended up buying the car back from him and getting him into an SL500 for cost.

Technics

I would love the M5, even with the "new" body style. I've always liked the M5's balance of performance and stealth element, a real sports sedan. Who would expect a 4 door to run with a Vette and have enough room for groceries? I've heard some specs on the V-10 but it promises to be real performer, even more so than the last generation.

Its at 600 now, and I think that Brabus upgrade puts the SL at something crazy like 575 or 600, so #s to #s close, but then that damn thing called weight!! Oh yeah, that carseat will NOT fit in the rocket!!

I dont know man, IMO the E55 kinda cancels out the S55 or S600 unless curb prestige is the goal, but if your thinking of replacing the GS, I would try to stay in that size class, the S may feel a little bulky (although they do HUSTLE!!)

I picked the E55 because it's the best looking Benz sedan, and it's a good balance in looks, performance & handling. I would have picked the New M5 had it not been so ugly looking.

BTW, you want us to pick 4 door sports sedan & you listed CL600 & CL55 in your poll ?

E55 all the way. Ever since I read the first article on it in Motortrend or C&D it has been my dream car. When we were car shopping they had a black one on the lot and the salesman let me sit in it and even popped the hood for me. I sat in there as long as i could looking at the perforated leather, AMG interior cus, and the gas pedal. Maybe some day.

BTW, new M5 6 speed, V-10, huge brakes, AT LEAST 500hp, possibly 530.... And you forgot the 700lbs torque having S-65.......

Power yes, but I dont know if I could live with that Bangle styling day in and day out, the E is very classy yet aggressive looking vehicle.

I like the RS6 too, but its about 8-10k MORE than the M/B

Allthough I would entertain getting a new Sedan...I would not sell the GS I love it too much. I have way too much into it and it's actually more my baby than the Porsche. Just a special bond I guess....Ant really wants it bad though...

Maybe give him the GS and get a E55 for yourself, remember you still have the SC to play with! Also, it 2 supercharged, 4 door, luxury sedans may defeat the purpose, since you would basically have 2 cars that are intended for the same mission.

So ant gave up on the Pcar eh?
